I know this isn't technically a great image, or even a good image...
but I love the cuteness of the bird and the composition and location.

~ Southern Crepe Myrtle ~

These Crepe Myrtle trees are just starting to bud out now,
and will be in full bloom in just a week or so. I'll definitely post images after these have bloomed. The moss and the riotous colour is astounding!

Magnolia Stamen

These are the absolute largest magnolias I have EVER seen!
They are at least 12-14 inches in diameter!

I wish I had something against them to show their scale.
They are Super HUGE!
The leaves are probably 5-6 inches wide and 8-9 inches long! The tree was enormous!
I can't even begin to guess it's height or diameter...The branches grew all the way down to the ground... and were drooping under the weight of these HUGE blooms!
It has to beat least a hundred years old!
